The Re:New Festival is committed to making its programs accessible whenever possible, recognizing that each person is an individual and that each individual benefits from accommodations uniquely suited to their abilities.

Accommodation descriptions for each event are tailored to the venue and will be as clear and detailed as possible. If you require an accommodation or service (i.e. ASL, CART/captioning, digital or large-print materials, etc.) to fully participate, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the event.

If an accommodation would be helpful and the lead time is less than two weeks, please email or call us so we can make every effort to help you fully participate in the best way possible.

This is a brand new festival—an evolving and improving festival—so please contact us and describe any accommodation that helps your participation.

 

Transportation

Primary Re:NEW Festival programs will be held in Downtown Pittsburgh, served by several bus routes as well as the T, Pittsburgh’s light rail system. These transportation systems are wheelchair accessible.

  • All Pittsburgh Port Authority bus and light rail/T vehicles and the Monongahela Incline are accessible.
  • Pittsburgh Port Authority buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps or lifts.
  • ACCESS is door-to-door, advance reservation, shared ride paratransit system provided through Port Authority. Call 412.562.5353 for details.
  • Classy Cab (412.322.5080) and Veterans’ Taxi (412.481.8387) offer wheelchair accessible taxi service.
